This probably won't come as a surprise to you, but I just finished another project! It all started when my neighbor (the one I got Foster from) gave me this cat tower from her mom's house (where Foster was born, actually). It was used, but I was happy to get it, because even I must …
You might remember that in October I did a post about my brand new "Talavera" stepping stones. Well, I sprayed them with a clear acrylic coating and put them out in the yard... ...where they promptly faded! (Note: Remember, this is California at the end of a five year drought. So the grass actually looks pretty …

I can't even say I knew him well! I can say I knew this was going to happen, but against all odds I did it anyway. I'll admit it, I spent $11.99 for another houseplant and the proceeded to systematically kill it off. Not on purpose, you understand, but it's like Mark always said, the plants …
Okay, how many grandmas do YOU know who would let you paint their bathroom door? Or perhaps the better question is, "How many would let you paint a whimsical scene on their bathroom door?" Now we're getting somewhere... For the longest time I had been thinking how fun it would be to paint a whimsical scene …
